This past week at Habitat i was finally assignede my project to work on. I will be in charge of putting together or at least starting the end of the year thank you party for the volunteers. Being a nonprofit and having a very very small budget this will be a challenge to get everything donated and to find a venue. I need to find a park to hold 250 people and possible donated space. Let me know if you have any ideas.
This Saturday was my first day of being on site at 5:30 am, by the way starbucks is not open that early, I pretty much made sure all the volunteers went to there assinged lot number and got everything they need. I also had to take pictures of everything going on wich was a little hard only having one hand but i made it work. We also had a wall raising for one family which was pretty excisting and everyone on that job site signs the walls of the house with blessing to the family, pretty awesome to wittness.
